How Much Snow Did Framingham Get?

Here's the number. (Although it was mostly slush by the time people were up and about on Monday.)

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The first real snowfall of the year dumped about 1.5 inches of the white stuff on Framingham, according to the National Weather Service.

The preliminary measurement was reported around 8 a.m.

The snow, which started to fall last night before giving way to rain this morning, contributed to Framingham State University opening two hours late.

Statewide, the highest reported snowfall was nearly 7 inches in Plainfield, NWS reported.
