Iconic Framingham Restaurant For Lease
Earlier this summer, the owners also announced that the restaurant would be closing temporarily. Now they're selling.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The Deluxe Depot Diner, located in the historic H.H. Richardson designed train station, is available for lease, announced the owners.
Earlier this summer, the owners also announced that the restaurant would be closing temporarily
and would be reopening in the fall. Last week they decided against re-opening and have listed the property with Cheryl Tully Stoll and Marlene Aron of Metrowest Commercial Real Estate.
“Due to the significant investments made by the owners" said Stoll in a statement, "this building is in tremendous shape. The exterior has been refurbished and the work done on the interior of the building is beautiful and retro designed. We are excited to bring a turn-key opportunity to the market, for a diner or
restaurant operator. The location is next to a busy commuter rail station in a rapidly
rejuvenating neighborhood.”

Marlene Aron, who serves as V.P. of Downtown Framingham Inc., and is the co-listing broker said in a statement, “With over 1,000 new apartments under construction in downtown Framingham and the surrounding area, in the next 18 to 24 months, this beautiful building at a premium location could become the next generations’ iconic dining landmark in our new city.”
Located at 417 Waverly St., at the junction of Route 135 and Route 126, holding a full
alcohol license and containing 270 seats, plus seats at the bar, this building could house
anything from a Diner to a Steak House to a Pub and Grub type establishment with very little
outfitting, additional investment or turnaround time, said the announcement.
