FRAMINGHAM, MA - Potter Road Elementary hosts its first-ever sweetheart dance on Friday night.

Coordinated by parents Lisa DeRosa and Kari Canney, the dance was a huge success, said the PTO.

Carnations were available for parents to give to their sweethearts and all the children enjoyed the make your own hot chocolate station.

Many of the decorations at the dance were constructed by fifth grade art students.

Parents donated many baked goods that were enjoyed by everyone.

The dance is sure to be a continued tradition at Potter Road Elementary, said the PTO.

Originally the dance was planned for Feb. 12 but was rescheduled to Feb. 26, due to a snow day.
