Jack's Abby Reopening In Framingham With 150-Seat Beer Garden
The Jack's Abby return comes as Massachusetts enters phase 2 as coronavirus slows. Other local restaurants are also opening outdoor spaces.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — After a nearly three-month closure of its taproom, Framingham's Jack's Abby brewery is reopening in a big way on Wednesday with a new 150-seat outdoor beer garden.
The brewery's return comes as Massachusetts enters phase 2 of the post-coronavirus reopening plan. Restaurants across Framingham have received or are in the process of applying for permission to operate outdoor dining areas for the summer.
Jack's Abby's beer garden will take over the Grant Street parking lot, and patrons have to make a reservation to sit in the garden, either online or by calling 774-777-5085. The garden will be open Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 9 p.m.

Other restaurants in the downtown area are starting to come online. Pho Dakao and Miranda Bread were both given permission on Monday to open outdoor dining spaces. The Sofá Café reopened last week. Downtown Framingham's other major brewer, Exhibit 'A', hopes to open a beer garden before July, said General Manager Kelsey Roth.
