Joel Barrera Elected Chair of the MetroWest Health Foundation
Framingham resident Anna Cross elected Trustee to the Framingham-based foundation, which serves 25 communities in MetroWest.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The MetroWest Health Foundation announced the election of new officers and trustees in January.
At its annual meeting in December, the foundation’s board of trustees elected Joel Barrera as its new board chair, Meyer Levy as vice chair, and Anna Cross as its newest trustee.
Barrera, a resident of Natick, is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Cabinet Affairs in the Office of Governor Charlie Baker. He has served on the board for eight years, most recently as vice-chair.

Meyer Levy, a CPA specializing in non-profit accounting with the firm of Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., is a resident of Framingham. He has served on the board since 2010 and chairs the foundation’s audit committee.
The board also re-elected Adam Rogers of Natick as treasurer, and Cynthia Bechtel of Southborough as clerk of the corporation.

Anna Cross, a resident of Framingham, joins the board after serving three-terms on the foundation’s Framingham Union Grants Panel. Anna is a consultant with the New England School Development Council. She previously served as director of family & community engagement with the Framingham Public Schools.
Re-elected to additional three-year terms as trustees are Julie Reed of Hopkinton, John Krikorian, M.D. of Needham, and Alan Geller of Framingham.
