Keefe Tech Drama Club Staging Charlotte's Web

There are two shows Friday night at 7 and Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The Keefe Regional Technical High School Drama Club will present their production of Charlotte’s Web, based on the book by E.B. White and adapted by Joseph Robinette, on
Friday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. and Saturday Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Framingham school’s auditorium

This year’s production is produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.

Tickets will be available at the door - $5 adults, $2 seniors and children under age 12.

Established in 2009, the Keefe Tech Drama Club is co-advised this year by English teacher Valerie Rector and science teacher Erin Bengiovanni and is open to students in all grade levels.

The club rehearses three days a week from October through February, with full week rehearsals during the last two weeks before the performance. In addition to offering students the opportunity to act and learn technical and backstage skills, the Drama Club teaches students about teamwork and creativity and helps to build confidence and friendships within the club.

“We are very excited about this year’s production of Charlotte’s Web. It is such a classic and well-loved
book and our cast and crew were really able to embrace it as their own story to tell. They have gone above and beyond in preparing the sets and rehearsing their scenes to make this performance their best yet,” said Drama Club Co-Advisor Rector.

This year’s Drama Club cast and crew members include Makayla Hicks, Eric Lundberg, and Jessica
Rackauskis of Ashland; Darah Case-Kane, Paula Castro, LeeAnn Conzo, Kateline Copithorne, Liberty
Cornett, Erin Dowdy, Nick Forristall, Renee Galvin, Kevin Guzman, Simone McHugh, Sean
McGillicuddy, Brianna Medina, Alex Nieves-Sanchez, Nathan Nieves, Stephanie Rigot, Marcela Silva,
and Caroline Soares of Framingham; Kayla Coburn, Madison Foster, Ella Rivas, and Chris Rossini of
Holliston; Tessa Beatrice and Nicole Dunajski of Natick.

Keefe Regional Technical School is a four-year public high school located in Framingham, and is
accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. In addition to 15 career and
technical programs, Keefe Tech offers a complete college preparatory and honors academic programs to students from the communities of Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton and Natick.
