Lauren Elizabeth Walsh DuBois, FHS Graduate, Dies At 19
DuBois died unexpectedly. Lauren loved the color blue, playing soccer and field hockey, and was a talented cook and seamstress.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Obituary via McCarthy, McKinney and Lawler: Lauren Elizabeth Walsh DuBois, 19, died suddenly Monday May 21, 2018. A lifelong Framingham resident, she was born in Brighton, the daughter of Jeanne A. Walsh of Framingham and Joseph DuBois of Aurora, NY who survive her.
Lauren was educated in Framingham Public Schools and was a graduate of Framingham High School, Class of 2017. She just completed her freshman year at Salem State College where she was majoring in sociology.
Growing up Lauren loved the color blue, playing soccer and field hockey, and was a talented cook and seamstress. She was an enthusiastic learner and enjoyed reading and history. She would often indulge in the video game World of Warcraft with her dad. Lauren’s hobby of photography became her passion, having even attended the summer photography program at Harvard.
Besides her parents, Lauren will be missed by her maternal grandmother, Ann J. Walsh, her paternal grandparents, Barbara Syrcher and Richard & Jan DuBois, her aunts and uncles, Richard Walsh & his wife Ruth Makofsky, Maura Walsh & her husband Carlos Avila, Elizabeth Walsh, Laura DuBois, David Dubois, Daniel Syrcher, Lynn O’Rourke, Shelly Syrcher, and Cindy Prise & her husband John, and many dear cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, John F. Walsh and Bernard Syrcher.
