I am so very grateful to see so many qualified individuals volunteer to represent Framingham's 2nd District on the School Committee. The community will hear from the candidates at the School Committee meeting next Wendesday, Feburary 17, 2021 at 7pm. In the meantime, the information they share publicly gives us a glimpse into their varied background. I invite residents to get to know them better before next week. The Framingham City Council is expected to hold a combined session with the Framingham School Committee on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 7pm, where the candidate who earns the majority votes (at least 10) will be appointed to the fill the seat.
