LETTER: 'McGrath Has Failed To Recruit Candidates'
Republican State Committee candidate Marty Lamb says he is "extremely disappointed" with the incumbent. Election is March 1.

I am extremely disappointed in Mr. Ed McGrath’s attack on me. Talk about calling the kettle black!
I have worked to make a positive difference in a major way for the Republican Party! I was one of the Chairmen of the successful effort to repeal automatic gas tax hikes. At our victory party, Governor Baker said the issue helped carry him into office!!!
As we have campaigned for Republican State Committee I have pointed out how I would be a different type of State Committee member. I am sorry if that offends Mr. McGrath, but I do want to point out how I have a record of success for the party whereas Mr. McGrath has failed to recruit candidates. And seeing as he attacked me I feel important to point out that Mr.Mcgrath has used his role for personal gain in getting a state job.

The differences in this race include: I think that we should recruit candidates for the entire ticket not just work to get a job with the Governor’s office. I think it was wrong that Massachusetts Federation of Republican Women’s charter was revoked. I will work to reinstate it. I think the GOP convention was a disaster, but there was no leadership change after it cost our candidates $200,000! I think it is wrong to try to take away the people’s right to vote for convention delegates.
Most importantly, I will not shy away from making fighting illegal immigration an issue.

Furthermore, Mr. McGrath is touting endorsements from people who worked to defeat Gov. Baker’s first campaign for Governor and that he had elected Democrats at his fundraiser.
I am hoping that Mr. McGrath will stop trying to fool voters with his phony outrage!
