Life-Saving Framingham Police Officer Honored

Congratulations and thank you to Officer McDonald.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Quick action led to a well-deserved award for a Framingham police officer, one of many law enforcement members on the front lines of the battle against Massachusetts' opioid epidemic.

The Framingham Police Department recently awarded Officer Chris McDonald its "Life Saving Award."

According to the FPD, "Officer McDonald was dispatched to a call for an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim had overdosed. Officer McDonald administered doses of Nasal Narcan and followed up with CPR. The victim was revived and subsequently transported to the hospital."
