Local Restaurateurs To Open New Spot At Framingham Development

The Buckley Kitchen is the newest restaurant from the owners of eateries in Hopkinton and Ashland.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The owners of two local restaurants are expanding in Framingham with a new venture at the Buckley mixed-use development along Franklin Street.

The owners behind the Buckley Kitchen received approval from the Board of License Commissioners on Monday for alcohol and common victualler licenses.

"We will have family fare, creative and casually done with a lot of thought," owner Zack Siarkos told the commissioners during the Monday meeting.

Siarkos' family began in the restaurant business with a pizza place, but later expanded to take over Bill's Pizzeria in downtown Hopkinton. Siarkos also opened Mazi along Route 126 in Ashland in July.

The Buckley Kitchen will be located in a separate building inside the Buckley development, a 210-unit apartment mixed-use complex that opened earlier in 2020. The new restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., although the patio will close earlier under request from Framingham police.
