Lowry, Benoit Finish 24th at State Coaches Invitational Meet

The meet continues on Sunday with some of Framingham High top indoor track performers competing.

Framingham High’s indoor track team members competed at the state Coaches Invitational meet on Saturday.

Senior Nick Benoit had a season best time and qualified for the state meet in the 55-meter dash, said Flyers Head Coach Chris Collins. Benoit’s time of 6.94 seconds placed him 24th out of 124 sprinters.

Junior Alex Lowry had a person record of 4:44.33 minutes in the mile. He finished 24th out of 56 runners, said Collins.

Senior Cameron Klein finished 37th in the 300-meter race, with a person record of 38.62 seconds.

Framingham sprinters Kevin Scanton and Matt Kimmelstiel 45th and 67th in the dash event .
