Main Framingham Road Closed After Car Hits Utility Pole
Framingham police closed Winter Street Sunday morning for an investigation, and hundreds were left without power.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Winter Street in Framingham was closed Sunday morning due to a serious accident involving a car and a utility pole, according to police.
The accident happened near Russell Road just north of the Sudbury Reservoir crossing. Winter Street from Maple Street to Salem End Road was closed for the investigation, police said.
Just over 300 people in the area were without power due to the accident, accord to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. Eversource was still evaluating the outage as of 8 a.m. and did not immediately provide an estimate of when the power would return.
