Margaret 'Peggy' (Brown) Quinn, 91
She started a not for profit daycare center in Framingham and was its director until she retired in 1994.

Margaret “Peggy” (Brown) Quinn, 91, of Holliston, died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at her home in Holliston.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Quinn.
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (O’Neill) Brown.

She is a graduate of Rupert Stanley College in Belfast, Ireland where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education.
Margaret (Peggy) and her husband Joe emigrated to Framingham from Ireland in 1974 with 2 of their sons, Kevin and Jack.

She was an Early Childhood Educator and started a small not for profit daycare center at the community center, Interfaith Terrace. The center began to grow and as it did so, it moved to St. Stephan’s Catholic school and became known as Southside Community Daycare Center. From there it continued to grow and moved to Cushing Hospital and from there to The Son’s of Mary where she remained as Director until she retired in 1994.
She is survived by her children, Joseph Quinn of Ireland, Anne Hoye-Lavin and her husband Gregory of Holliston, Kevin Quinn and his wife Nancy of Northboro, Jack Quinn of Worcester, her daughter-in-law Monica Quinn of Ireland and her two step-grandsons in Iowa and Colordao. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 5 in the United States and 14 great-grandchildren, 2 in the United States and the rest in Ireland; and her brother Oliver Brown and his wife Roseleen of Ireland and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was the mother of the late Noel and Paul Quinn.
Relatives and friends are invited her funeral mass on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Holliston.
At the family’s request there will be no funeral home visiting hours.
