Framingham Girl, 2, Battling Cancer
The GoFundMe account will raise funds for the Framingham family of a child with cancer.
A Milford woman has launched a public fundraising account on GoFundMe to help cover healthcare expenses for a 2 1/2 year old Framingham girl with cancer, named Selena.
The child is undergoing radiation treatments after a reoccurrence of cancer, wrote Jessica Ortiz, on the GoFundMe page. She hopes to raise $5,000 for the child's family.
"She is undergoing radiation everyday this week," Ortiz wrote. "She doesn't want to take her medication anymore her parents have to force her to. I set up this page to raise money for her and her family. I would like her to enjoy her time here and PRAY for a Miracle."
As of midnight, Jan. 27, 9 people have raised $345 in 10 days.
