Millis Police Look For Driver Who Killed Puppy On Christmas

The puppy — named after Julian Edelman — was hit in front of a home that used to host the annual "Millis Wonderland" lights display.

MILLIS, MA — Millis police are searching for a driver who hit and killed a puppy outside a home on Christmas night. The incident happened at a home that was once a popular local destination because of its elaborate Christmas lights display.

The puppy was killed late on Christmas night. The dog was outside when a driver in a car drove around a traffic circle in front of the home. The home sits far back off Causeway Street between Millis and Medway.

According to Boston 25, the dog was one of two the family recently got, and was named Jules after New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman. The family's other dog is named after Tom Brady. The dog lived at a home that hosted the "Millis Wonderland" Christmas lights display in past years.
