More Than 9,500 Without Power In Framingham: UPDATED

Framingham is among the many communities hit across the state.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—An especially heavy snow in this newest nor'easter has caused power problems for multiple communities across the state, including Framingham.

By 11 a.m. on Thursday, 9,552 of 30,550 were affected in Framingham, marking 31 percent of the customers in the city, according to Eversource. This is some 2,000 more affected by power outages than at 6 a.m.

More than 110,000 power customers were in the dark as of 1 a.m.., according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. Patch will be updating power outages throughout Thursday, so check back often. Southern Worcester County and the Merrimack Valley are seeing the worst of it.
