Mustang Carreiro Finished Second in 1,000 Meters

Marian High’s co-ed indoor track team competed in the Tri-Country Championships Thursday at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

Marian junior Jannerro Carreiro finished second in the 1,000-meter event at 2:46.01 minutes.

The co-ed track team finished 8th as a team at the Championship meet.

The Mustangs boys 4X400 relay team finished fifth.

The Mustangs girls 4X200 relay finished fourth, in a time of 1:58.22 minutes.

Senior Kendra Johnson finished fifth in the shot put for the Mustangs. She also finished seventh in the girls 55-meter dash, with a time of 8.232 seconds.

Only the top 6 in each event earned points.

Senior Sara Dilbarian finished seventh in the shot put in the Conference meet.

Senior Megan Bubello finished seventh in the 300-meter race in 47.23 seconds.

Senior Erin Condon finished seventh in the mile event at 6:00.08 minutes.
