New Bereavement Support Group for Children

The eight-week session is for children ages 4-12, and will be held at Edwards Church in Framingham.

When a child experiences the death of a loved one, the loss can have a tremendous impact on the child’s life – at home, with friends and at school, both now and in the future. Children grieve differently than adults and often need help understanding and expressing their feelings during such a confusing time.

The Bertolon Center for Grief & Healing will begin a new bereavement support group for children in Framingham starting Wednesday, Feb. 24.

The eight-week group is open to children ages 4-12 who are grieving the death of anyone close to them.
