New Dance Therapy Dance Program in Framingham

The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest will host the program for students with special needs, from preschool to age 18.

The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) announces a Dance Therapy Program for students from perschool to age 18.

The Dance Therapy Program at the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest, is for students with special needs, enhances self-expression, self-image, self-esteem, and awareness of others.

The program is designed to serve children with sensory-motor and learning challenges.

Children will have the opportunity to move and interact in a supportive and fun environment, while working on physical strength, coordination, balance, flexibility and socialization skills through creative movement, dance, song, games and music.

Private sessions are available, and there is a group lesson potential.

The new program is taught by Jennifer Wiles, MA, BC-DMT, Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Board Certified Dance Movement Therapist. Referrals from schools and health professionals, as well as parents and caretakers are welcomed.
