New Framingham Panini Spot May Open In June
Hot Table, a Springfield-based chain, will open at Shoppers World, the owner says.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Massachusetts-based panini chain is aiming to open its newest location in Framingham this summer, the owner told the Board of License Commissioners on Monday night.
The Framingham Hot Table received unanimous approval for its victualler license Monday from the license commissioners. Owner John DeVoie said the restaurant could open by the end of June or early July.
Hot Table was founded in 2007 by brothers John and Chris DeVoie and restaurateur Don Watroba. The Framingham restaurant would be the chain's eighth and the easternmost location. Hot Table is based in Springfield and most of its restaurants are located along I-91 between Amherst and the Hartford area — but there are two more locations in Marlborough and Worcester.

The restaurant is taking over the former Snip-its children's barbershop at Shoppers World. DeVoie said the Framingham location might offer outdoor seating pending city approval.
