Stolen Car Led To Murder Arrest In Framingham: Police

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A man wanted in connection to a Manchester, N.H., murder was arrested in Framingham on Wednesday after police spotted him make a traffic violation, according to police.

Timothy Johnson, 38, was wanted following the Saturday shooting death of Jean Lascelle, police said. New Hampshire authorities issued a second-degree murder warrant for Johnson.

The arrest was made after Framingham officers Brett Moreau and Zakery Walker pulled Johnson after they saw him driving a car reported stolen, the department said Thursday.

Johnson will appear Thursday at District Court in Framingham on local charges, including receiving a stolen motor vehicle, possession of burglary tools and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, plus being a fugitive from justice from New Hampshire.
