Operation Warm Gets New Coats To Framingham Elementary School
Classes are each called down to the gymnasium where volunteers help students choose a brand new coat.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The Brophy Elementary School in Framingham was picked by Operation Warm, a national nonprofit, to participate in their “More Than A Coat” program. With support from Jewish Family Service of Metrowest (JFS), every student at Brophy will be receiving a new winter coat.
“We are so appreciative and thankful for this outpouring of generosity,” said Cynthia Page, vice principal of Brophy Elementary School, in a statement. “Not only will our students be kept warm traveling to and from Brophy school each day, they will know they are a part of a larger, kind, caring and supportive community.”
On Monday, October 15, 2018, volunteers from Operation Warm and Jewish Family Service of Metrowest distribute coats to the students. Classes are each called down to the gymnasium where volunteers help students choose a brand new coat.
“Improving social and health equity is at the forefront of every effort and impact committed by Jewish Family Service of Metrowest,” said Lino Covarrubias, chief operating officer, JFS, in a statement. “Ensuring no child in elementary school is left behind has always and will continue to be a top priority for the social justice work JFS embarks on. JFS is very excited to partner with Operation Warm and to work alongside other volunteers to provide winter coats for the students of the Brophy Elementary School in Framingham.”
