Ottaviani Seeks Epstein's Framingham School Committee Seat
It took a month, but someone has stepped up to run for District 6 School Committee member Geoffrey Epstein's seat.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — It took four weeks, but a candidate has finally stepped up to run for retiring District 6 School Committee member Geoffrey Epstein's seat.
Valerie Ottaviani, 56, wife of District 6 City Council Philip Ottaviani, pulled papers to run for the seat on Wednesday, according to the City Clerk.
Candidate filing season began on June 1 in Framingham and ends on July 15. So far, every incumbent School Committee member is running unopposed. Only Epstein and District 3 School Committee member Scott Wadland are not seeking reelection in 2021. Jennifer Moshe has filed to run for Wadland's seat.
