Patio Place Store To Open In Framingham

WORCESTER, MA — A Framingham ski shop will expand into patio furniture this spring.

Ski Haus will expand its 686 Worcester Road store to include a Patio Place store, the company's outdoor furniture brand. The Salem, N.H., company's plans to expand patio offerings in Massachusetts were put on hold last spring due to the pandemic.

On top of the Framingham opening, the company has canceled plans to open a Patio Place location in Burlington.

"By moving the Patio Place summer assortment from Burlington into Framingham, we're able to provide the underserved Framingham market; while still offering and delivering to the greater Burlington area," Ski Haus President Wayne Pilla said in a news release Tuesday.

The company did not provide an exact opening date for the furniture store, but said it will be accepting furniture deliveries in April and May.
