Police Issue Warning After Card Skimmer Found on Cumberland Farms ATM
Here are the signs you can look for to protect your bank account.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — After a debit card skimming device was found inside a Southborough Cumberland Farms this weekend, Framingham Police are urging caution and offering some tips.
Per police, here's some tips that can help you detect these type of devices:
- Look for discoloration of parts on the machine and parts that don't seem to match.
- Tug on keyboard and card reader; if they appear loose or come off report immediately.
- Beware of tiny holes on the machine, especially around the keypad. It could be a camera to capture your PIN.
- Check your bank statements frequently and report any unusual transactions to bank.
- If you're traveling overseas tourist destinations can have many of these devices throughout the area.
"Remember," police said, ,"it's not just bank ATM's that are targeted. Stand alone ATM machines and gas pumps can also have them and have been reported in the Metrowest area."
