Public Neighborhood Workshop: Irving Street Park Design
This hands-on event includes design exercises, a site visit, and group discussion of what is desirable and feasible for the 0.2-acre site.

FRAMINGHAM, MA–The Division of Community & Economic Development and the Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs is hosting a public workshop to bring together neighborhood residents, employees, businesses, organizations and interested members to generate and discuss design alternatives for a potential new "pocket park" to be located at 150 Irving St.
The workshop takes place on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tribune Apartments, 46 Irving St.

This hands-on event includes design exercises, a site visit, and group discussion of what is desirable and feasible for the 0.2-acre site, currently a gravel parking lot. The session will be facilitated by a professional landscape architect, who will capture community input and generate a preliminary conceptual design. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP as capacity is limited to 40 people.
