Inches of Snow Forecasted For Framingham Wednesday

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement, calling for snow showers Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

While heavy snowfall amounts aren’t expected, the National Weather Service says a few heavy snow showers may result in a quick one to two inches of snow in a short amount of time, reducing visibility.

One band of snow is expected during the morning commute, as a of 3 a.m. advisory from the National Weather Service, and another band of snow his afternoon.

Total snowfall for MetroWest and Framingham is forecasted as 2 to 4 inches.

Looking ahead to the weekend, bitter cold is in store, as temperatures will plunge to near zero.
