Reception for Leombruno, McGrath Tuesday in Franklin

The two Framingham residents are running for re-election to the Republican State Committee. Election is Tuesday, March 1.

Framingham resident Ed McGrath and Janet Leombruno, who currently serve on the Massachusetts Republican State Committee, are having a re-election reception hosted by state Sen. Richard Ross Tuesday, Feb. 9.

The event will take place Tuesday at the Rome Restaurant in Franklin 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.

McGrath serves as Chair of the Framingham Republican Town Committee. He has recruited and helped numerous Republican candidates, including Charlie Baker and Karyn Polito. He also served the members of the Massachusetts Republican Party as the Party’s pro bono General Counsel.

Leombruno serves as the vice-chair of its Republican Town Committee. An elected member of Framingham Town Meeting, she is involved in numerous activities to get more people involved in government.

Leombruno serves as vice chair of Framingham First. She was a member of the Baker/Polito team acting as Special Assistant to Lt. Governor candidate Karyn Polito in 2014 and in 2010 for Mary Z. Connaughton for State Auditor.

Both Governor Charlie Baker and Lt Governor Karyn Polito have endorsed McGrath and Leombruno for re-election.

Serving on the host committee for Tuesday’s event is former U.S. Senator Scott Brown, who has also endorsed McGrath and Leombruno for re-election.

Also on the host committee are the majority of the Republican State Reps & Senators, all who have come out in support and have endorsed McGrath and Leombruno.

The election is March 1.
