Massachusetts Department of Transportation closed the Route 9 pedestrian foot bridge, near the Framingham State University campus last week
The bridge will be closed, until further notice, as MassDOT completes emergency repairs.
Pedestrians are advised to use the Edgell Road bridge.

MassDOT has been working on the area for a couple of months making repairs, but the bridge was completely closed last week.
