Sister Robard Craven, 100

Sister Robard Craven, CSJ, in her 100th year of life and her 82nd year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Thursday, March 3, 2016.

Devoted daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Mullen) Craven and loving sister of the late Joseph R. and Robert J. Craven. Survived by her devoted friend, Ritajane Clancy, and her Sisters in the Congregation. Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Columbkille School, Brighton; St. Benedict School, Somerville; Immaculate Conception School, Marlboro; St. Thomas School, Jamaica Plain; and St. William School, Dorchester. Sister Robard also served as Principal at St. Mary School, Charlestown; and as a tutor at Fontbonne Academy, Milton.

Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Monday, March 7, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany Monday, March 7, at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.
