SLIDESHOW: Benefit Concert Raises Money for Framingham Children

The Timothy's Toy Box Benefit Concert, featuring several local musicians, raised over $1000 for local charity, Timothy's Toy Box.

On Friday, the Timothy’s Toy Box Concert rocked Maple Street in Framingham! The charity event, held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, featured several Centre Music House students who helped coordinate this concert to raise money for Framingham-based charity, Timothy’s Toy Box. And raise money they did!

With a larger than expected turn out, raffled items, and help from several local businesses donating items, including Sofá Café, Dulche d Leche, Framingham Sub Shop and Pizza, and The Melting Pot, over $1000 was raised to help Timothy’s Toy Box purchase gifts this holiday season for local children in need. This more than doubled the original goal of $500.

Local musician Emmaline Ocain opened the show with an intimate solo performance that showcased her amazing vocal and guitar skills. She was joined by her guitar instructor, John Paolilli, on bass and Tyler Eberling on drums for a performance of Rurel’s “Dazed and Confused”.
