“Brookline played great and shot the lights out. Though we struggled defensively, we stepped up offensively and made some excellent decisions,” said Torbert.

Framingham junior guard Jared Gordon-Anderson had 13 points in the win.

“We were able to stay aggressive without turning the basketball over. The players showed a ton of composure in a pressure-packed situation and made just enough plays to win,” said Torbert.

“I’m really proud of the seniors for all of their hard work and hopefully we can get one more to validate all of the hard work the players have put in,”said Torbert.

If Framingham can win one of its last three games, the team will earn a spot in the MIAA post-season playoffs.

Framingham senior center Josh Dumay had 7 points and 3 rebounds in last night’s game.

Next up for Framingham is a game Sunday in Holliston against the Panthers at 2:30 p.m.
