The students showcased their work, ranging from the houses built for the 4th Little Pig to the chairs that were built for Goldilocks, along with their Science Notebooks and STEAM journals.
One of the most exciting parts of the evening was “listening to the students use all of the language they have learned around the Engineering and Design Process and what steps they took during all of their projects,” said Taylor.

Thursday evening “was certainly a proud moment for our school community! The teachers should be commended for the extraordinary job that they have done with their students, and the children should be commended for their hard work and perseverance! What a special place King is,” said Taylor.
King Elementary is the Framingham Public School’s ninth and newest elementary school. It has a focus on STEAM and Mandarin language.
Presently it has kindergarten and first grade students. The plan is to add a grade each year until it is a K-5 school.
