South Framingham Gets New Free Coronavirus Test Site
A walk-up testing site in Framingham has been missing for weeks with only a drive-up service nearby.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Walk-up coronavirus testing has returned to Framingham.
City officials on Monday announced a free walk-up testing site will open Wednesday at St. Tarcisius Parish, 562 Waverly St. The site will replace the former walk-up facility at the South Middlesex Opportunity Council office along Bishop Street, which closed at the end of December.
The new site will be run by Project Beacon, which is in charge of the drive-up site along Franklin Street. The new site's hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. Residents can make appointments on the Project Beach website.
