You don't have to go too far to treat your mom to a wonderful mother's day.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — You don't have to wander very far to give mom a great mother's day this year. There are plenty of events and restaurants willing to treat your mother on her special day. From concerts and craft events to brunches and art shows, Framingham has all the possible ways to say 'I love you mom,' in one special day.

Mother's Day Concert

Spoil mom with a concert close to home! The Framingham Public Library is hosting pianist Jenny Tang to perform on Sunday. Tang has performed solo recitals throughout New England, maintains a private studio in New York City and is a freelance conductor. Musical selections for the event will include Schubert, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Liszt, Debussy, Lili Boulanger, Ginastera, Tan Dun.The concert will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in FraminghamLibrary's Costin Room.

What says "I love mom," more than fondue? The Melting Pot in Framingham is offering a special pre fix menu for Mother's Day. The three course brunch ends at 3 p.m. but the restaurant stays open until 10 p.m. Bonus: Every Mom that comes in will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a four course dinner for two.

Make cards and crafts together

This one is on Saturday before Mother's Day but who says we should limit the fun to one day? The Framingham Public Library is hosting a Mother's Day craft event for kids to make cards and crafts to give to mom — but what better way to celebrate her than letting her get in on the fun. Bring mom to the main library on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make some memories.. and crafts.

Empower her through art

This is another one that's on Saturday but its an all weekend celebration of mom. Amazing Things Arts Center is hosting an empowering art exhibit titled "Unapologetic {Sorry Not Sorry}." The exhibition examines how women have mastered the art of apologizing but shouldn't have to. The exhibit is open in Amazing Things Arts Center at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
