Straight Outta Framingham: Famous Faces From Your Hometown
Pro baseball player Chris Colabello was born in Framingham and graduated from Milford High School.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Chris Colabello was born in Framingham, then his family moved to Italy. But before he was ten, his family moved back to Massachusetts, and he grew up in Milford and graduated from Milford high School, heading to play NCAA Division II baseball at Assumption College.
Colabello was promoted to the major leagues in 2014 to the Minnesota Twins. He was given an overseas opportunity, but did not take it. But in 2013, he played with the Italy National Team in the World Baseball Classic. He was in the starting lineup in 2014 with the Twins, playing the outfield, first base and designated hitter. According to Wikipedia, he had a batting average of .308 that year with three home rubs, 27 RBIs.
He was claimed by the Toronto Blue Jays by the end of Dec. 2014, and then Triple A's Buffalo Bisons in February of 2015. In May his contract was purchased by the Blue Jays. After a suspension, he was back on the Dunedin Blue Jays and then Triple A Buffalo Bisons. By the end of that year, he was a free agent, and signed with the Cleveland Indians on Dec. 20, 2016. He didn't make the major league roster, but hit .225 for the Columbus Clippers.

According to MLB, he was was let go by the Indians earlier in July, and "will most likely report to Triple-A Colorado Springs with his new organization. The 33-year-old will presumably fill the roster spot of Garrett Cooper, who was traded to the Yankees last week. It was just two seasons ago that Colabello slashed a remarkable .321/.367/.520 with 15 home runs across 360 plate appearances with the Blue Jays."
