Take-Out Parking Zones Set Up In Downtown Framingham
The City Council approved new 15-minute zones in the downtown area for people to grab to-go orders.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Eight 15-minute parking zones have been set up in downtown Framingham to accommodate people picking up to-go orders. The zones are meant to boost restaurants that are limited to take-out due to coronavirus.
The City Council approved the zones on Tuesday, and they were already in place by Wednesday morning. They will remain in place until at least November, but possibly longer if coronavirus reemerges.
The City Council on Tuesday also extended free parking in the downtown area for the duration of the coronavirus crisis.
