Traffic Alert: Where You Will Encounter Road Construction in Framingham

With the spring weather we have been experiencing, also comes spring road construction projects.

Below is a list of Town of Framingham and MassDOT projects scheduled this week March 14-18.

The schedule is weather permitting. Rain may change the schedule.

• CONCORD STREET (Route 126) DOWNTOWN FRAMINGHAM RECONSTRUCTION: The MassDOT contractor will continue electrical work to complete street lighting on Hollis Street, Concord Street and Irving Street. Expect moderate delays and on-street parking restrictions.
• MAIN STREET AREA: The contractor will resume sewer main replacement on Moulton Park Road and punch list items in the Main Street area. Expect minor delays.
• ROUTE 9 BRIDGE OVER FOSS RESERVOIR OUTLET: Construction continues on the southern section of the bridge. The westbound pedestrian sidewalk will remain closed. Expect moderate delays.
