What's Allowed At Framingham 2021 Household Hazardous Waste Day
The annual event will be held over the first weekend in May.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — the Framingham public works Department will host a household hazardous waste day over the first weekend in May, according to city officials.
But not all hazardous waste materials are created equal. The public works department has outlined a list of items that will be accepted and some that will not be accepted during the event.
To attend, arrive at the DPW operations center, 100 Western Ave., between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on May 1.

- Aerosol paints
- Bug sprays
- Caustic Cleaners/de-greasers
- Cleaning solvents
- Concentrated fertilizers
- Diesel oil
- Herbicides
- Mercury-containing devices
- Oil, enamel, or lead-based paints
- Gasoline/Kerosene
- Paint thinners
- Pesticides
- Photo chemicals
- Pool/spa chemicals
- Rodent poison
- Urethanes
