I am currently a member of the Library Adult Program Committee which presents speakers, musical performances, and films. I also was on the subcommittee which produced last summer’s series of road films. I research and introduce many of our evening and matinee movies.

I have a degree in Political Science as well as a law degree. I have also completed my graduate course work in Political Philosophy. I was a Legal Specialist for five years at the U.S. Small Business Administration. I was an Adjunct Political Science Professor at Northeastern University before becoming a Cooperative Education Coordinator there for 23 years, working with students in Political Science, Philosophy, and Environmental Studies.

I am interested in issues of policy, personnel, and programming. It is important that we achieve success in our re-opening of the main library as well as in the roll out of the new branch library.

We must continue to offer our myriad library services to all sectors and areas of our community.

I appreciate your consideration for the open Library Trustee position.
