Wind Advisory Issued For MetroWest, Framingham

National Weather Services: Framingham could see sustained winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour, and gusts up to 45 miles per hour today, March 2

The National Weather Service in Boston said MetroWest, including Framingham, could see heavy winds on Wednesday, March 2.

A special weather advisory was issued around 3:30 a.m.

Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. today, the MetroWest area could see sustained winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour and gusts up to 45 miles per hour.

The winds, according to the National Weather Service, have the potential to cause downed tree limbs and power lines, resulting in isolated power outages.

Hazardous driving condition could also happen, said the Weather Service.
