The Marist Property hearing has been moved to Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Blumer Room at Memorial Hall. Walden Behavioral Care seeks a special permit in order to begin the development of their facility on the Marist Property.
The first hearing for the Marist Property was July 9.Â
According to the Board of Zoning Appeals, the hearing was "intentionally moved to have its own hearing on it's own night."Â The ZBA wishes to dedicate an entire evening to deliberate the proposals and hear residents express their opinion on the matter.Â
The next regular Zoning Board of Appeals meeting is Aug. 13.Â
The proposed use for the former Marist Property is the development of the headquarters of Walden Behavioral Care, a center which would treat patients for eating and mood disorders.
Framingham residents have expressed their opinion about it, citing traffic and safety concerns as to why the property should not be used as the headquarters for this facility.Â
