Fire Tears Through Revere Neighborhood
More than a dozen families are displaced after a fire spread to at least six buildings in Revere Thursday.
REVERE, MA — A multi-alarm fire ripped through a Revere neighborhood Thursday, spreading to several buildings and leaving more than a dozen families homeless.
The fire started around 2 p.m. at a triple-decker home on Endicott Avenue. It ultimately spread to six buildings, displacing 15 families, according to reports.
Fire officials said no one was reported missing or injured, but NBC Boston reported that firefighters could be seen removing dead animals from one home.

Photos and video from the scene showed heavy smoke billowing into the air and over the water. The response drew fire crews from several nearby communities, including Somerville, Medford, Cambridge, Lynn, Boston and Stoneham.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
