5th Congressional Election Day Guide in Malden

Find out where and when to vote in Malden, who the 5th Congressional District candidates are and their stances on important issues.

Voters from nearly two dozen communities in the Malden region will head to the polls on Tuesday, Dec. 10 to elect a new U.S. Representative.

The Special State Election voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at several polling places around the city. Find out where you can vote here. 

Voters in the 5th Congressional District will choose which candidate will replace former Congressman Edward Markey, who was elected to John Kerry's seat as a U.S. Senator earlier this year. Candidates whose names will appear on the ballot include:

• Democratic State Sen. and Melrose resident Katherine Clark
• Republican candidate and Boston attorney Frank Addivinola Jr.
• Independent candidate and Arlington attorney James Hall
• Independent candidate and Wellesley financial advisor James Aulenti
