Blustery Cold, Showers, Snow in the Forecast For Malden

Time to bring out the warm parkas, hats and mittens again.

MALDEN, MA - After unseasonably warm temperatures on Sunday, and a blustery cold day on Monday - snow is in the forecast for Tuesday for the region.

Rain is expected on Tuesday afternoon, before a period of snow arrives Tuesday night. Less than an inch of snow is possible in Malden, according to the National Weather Service.

For travelers, a brief period of rain showers with locally heavier snow squalls are possible across western and central Massachusetts on Tuesday. Up to three inches of snow are possible in higher terrains, and the evening commute could be impacted, according to meteorologists.

Very cold weather follows on Wednesday with a slight risk of a few, brief snow flurries.
