Cannoli Guy Gets A Cash Attack From Social Media Mob

The on Main Street in Malden Square got an injection of cash Friday thanks to the city's first "cash mob," according to a story on Boston.com.

A "cash mob" is similar to a flash mob: it's organized by social media including Facebook and Twitter and tells people to show up in a certain spot at a certain time. But instead of singing and dancing, a cash mob encourages people to spend money at a local business.

The event was organized by the City of Malden and by mid-afternoon business was booming, Boston.com reported. and said they look forward to being in Malden for many years.
