City Of Malden: Bridge Recovery Center Hosts Game Nights

Mayor Gary Christenson was in attendance last week at the Bridge Recovery Center’s (BRC) weekly Friday Night Game Night. The BRC hosts a weekly game night for the recovery community every Friday from 6:30-8:30 PM. Folks can participate in a number of activities including corn hole, chess, billiards, ping-pong, air hockey as well as a variety of board games. At the BRC they believe that the opposite of addiction is connection. It is their hope that events such as Game Night will provide opportunities for those in recovery to build and strengthen their relationships with peers, further empowering themselves and each other as they pursue their own personal growth.
