Details to Emerge About Malden Officers' Role in Manhunt

Malden Police Chief Kevin Molis confirmed the involvement of Malden Police officers during the incredible manhunt for a bombing suspect in Watertown Friday night. 

"I committed some of our best resources to Watertown yesterday," he wrote.

"Their dedication and training served them well. They played a meaningful role in a great collaborative effort.

"We are all proud of them." 

Molis said he would hold off on releasing details until he received additional briefings, but told residents to expect them early this week. 

"I just want to make sure that anything I attribute to them is extremely accurate," he explained.
