Dog Groomer Opens Shop In Malden
The Pooch Room, which started as a mobile grooming service, has opened a brick-and-mortar shop on Salem Street.
MALDEN, MA — Malden's newest business has gone to the dogs (literally). The Pooch Room, a dog grooming shop, recently opened at 190 Salem St.
The business is the brainchild of Javier Almodovar, who has over a decade of experience in pet grooming. Almodovar previously ran a mobile grooming service in the greater Boston area and is CPR and First Aid certified for pets. He provides a safe, cage-free environment for dogs at The Pooch Room.
The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
